Being nice isn’t the same as being transformed.
The fruit of the Spirit isn’t about learning how to look, speak, or act like a Christian—it’s about Christ being formed in us. As we behold Him, His goodness changes what we desire, His kindness teaches us to genuinely want good for others, and His patience teaches us to keep loving them over time.
The Bride becomes beautiful when she begins to look like her Bridegroom. May the character of Jesus become more and more visible in us—His goodness, His kindness, and His patience—so that when the world sees us, they see Him.
